The masks of Theater Didymus are made according to a unique and self-developed
recipe based on classic techniques for mask making used in Venice and in the
world of the theatre.
It is a special kind of papier-mâché, coated with a certain texture or a
sturdy finish that is completely sanded smooth.
The masks are made completely by hand, the process involves several steps ...
Designing, modelling, making the mold, making the basic form, finishing,
painting and decorating are done completely in own workshop.
This, of course, means that there are no existing store-bought base models
used!

Each mask is a unique piece of art created by the passionate shop owner Thomas
Weber. An artsy Devil-does-all who can say - with some pride – that he is an
'Certified Craftsman '.

These masks are wearable.
Please note, although we always try to make the forms in a way so that they
fit everyone, there is a small possibility that for some people they can be a
bit a loose or tight.

These original masks are ideal for theatre shows, cosplay, masked balls, film
or television, photography, weddings, events, and more.
They are also perfect as artistic decoration.
