Cream and Indigo hand dyed 100% Silk Scrunchie

These lovely, one of a kind hair ties were born out of our experiments with
indigo dye and raw silk right in our Portland studio. These very limited
handmade and hand-dyed scrunchies are not only functional but also a truly
unique and one of a kind accessory.

Indigo is a natural plant dye material that comes from the indigo plant. The
dyeing of the fabric is a special and time-consuming process which is executed
in small vats of indigo dye then cured to set the color. The imperfections of
the dye serve to enhance the charm of each item, dye results may differ, each
item is uniquely colored.
