Edwardian ladies celluloid hair comb with rhinestone decoration

Dashing Edwardian ladies black celluloid hair comb with green Rhinestone
decoration and floral cut out design. The celluloid is primarily black but a
golden color can be seen on the side. These hair combs were very popular in the
Victorian and Edwardian era. The ladies traditionally grew their hair very long
and with the use of fake hair pieces would pin their hair up into elaborate
hairstyles topped off with fabulous hair combs like this one. The celluloid
ones are quite rare because the plastic could become very brittle and break.

This comb is in wonderful shape and would look beautiful setting off your
historical costume, halloween outfit or just to show off on your dressing table.

Measurements- Length 9". Width at widest part 3 3/4". Comb prongs 3 1/2" long,
1 1/2" wide.
