Red Leather Mask - Venetian Masquerade Commedia dell'Arte - Zanni

Inspired by the characters of the Venetian Commedia dell'Arte theater of the
16th century, this completely hand-made leather mask cuts a striking silhouette
with it's long nose and deep red color. The eye holes are fairly large for good
visibility and will fit both men and women nicely.

This mask was designed and handmade in my studio in the Rogers Park
neighborhood of Chicago. I cut my masks from premium full grain vegetable
tanned leather and then wet mold and hand dye them. I lay down several shades
of dye and fade to dark at the edges... this gives some nice depth to the mask.
